The Soil Refrigerator is an installation.
In the village area of the united state, people throw their useless domestic appliances on their lawn. This scene would never happen in the urban city.
When I saw a household appliance standing on the lawn outside the house, I recognized the romantic element of it.
This installation based on a found old refrigerator.
In the purpose to blur the boundary of human-made commodity and natural ecosystem.
A Whimsy combination of fridge and soil. Private and public space.
The white hexagon structure gave it a ritual feeling. And inside the fridge is a micro-ecosystem.
A poetic sculpture.
